Based on selected strains of Bacillus subtilis, or Lactobacillus, CALSPORIN and FINELACT have achieved significant success around the world.
CALSPORIN sales in the U.S., a livestock superpower, have increased exponentially, requiring expanded production facilities in 2006. In September 2006, CALSPORIN became one of the first probiotics to be approved under the EU’s new feed additive regulation. Calpis subsequently became the first Japanese manufacturer to receive FAMI-QS quality approval, essential for EU sales, but also strengthening our continued expansion in Latin America and Asia. |
