
In 1904, Kaiun Mishima, the founder of our company, visited Inner Mongolia on his business trip and encountered a drink that was creamy and thick and had a sour taste.It was an important drink for the people in Inner Mongolia to maintain their health as they are living in severe natural environment.Eventually, he found out that it was cultured milk made from milk of cows or horses by fermenting it with lactobacilli.
Kaiun felt his body and mind were refreshed by drinking it constantly, and was convinced that the secret of the tastiness and health lies in the milk and lactobacilli that are the blessing of the nature.After coming back to Japan, he started to develop a drink that is tasty and healthy with cultured milk as the base of his idea.
